Running off 5 hours sleep I quickly got home and got changed for what I assumed to be a low-key dinner with a few other Aussies who were attending the mens fashion festival extravaganza that is Pitti Uomo. Upon arriving in the city and meeting up with the gents for a quick candid shoot we then waited for our transfers to arrive.
After short 15 minute drive weaving through the city traffic, we began to make our way up through the hills of Fiesole and shortly arrived at our destination, villa Il Salviatino. With panoramic views of Florence, this refurbished 15th Century villa is definitely more of a Palazzo in my eyes.
After gawking at the formidable facade for at least a minute, I then did what anyone in my situation would do, I grabbed a Peroni from the waiter and began documenting every little inch of Il Salvitino via Instagram. For those of you who didn't see my stories, I managed to wrangle a few images together from the event photographer to do a post on the event as it was truely one of the best events I have ever been to, hands down. After a full three course meal and many a glass of red wine, those of us still remaining proceeded to head outside to continue the festivities long into the early hours of the morning. What a way to spend an evening in in Florence!
