Australia’s leading luxury department store, Harrolds has just announced the relaunch of their Harrolds Private Label, a line renowned for unparalleled tailoring. The range is aimed at young professionals looking to step up their suiting game or even the suiting enthusiast looking for a new wardrobe staple. To help celebrate this introduction of HPL back into the premium suiting market, I’ve partnered up with Harrolds alongside a selection of other Aussie gents to showcase the range at the Caulfield Cup this weekend, and boy can I not wait!
The moment you walk through the door at Harrolds, you know you are going to be looked after! No less than a minute after heading upstairs to the formalwear section, I had a soy latte in hand and was eying off the collection.
For Autumn/Winter 17, Harrolds Private Label introduces two silhouettes; the Parigi, with half canvas construction, offers a super sleek fit with slim lapels. The second shape is the Milano which has a traditional silhouette and is also half canvas construction. Naturally I opted for the former of the two and after much deliberation with the staff members, we decided to pair it up with some tasselled loafers and belt from Magnanni, the most recent addition to the already stunning line-up of formal shoes.
Now back to the suit! HPL is designed in-house, crafted in Italy and is both handmade and handstitched to ensure top-notch quality and produced with a stunning range of seasonal fabrics. They are the definitive wardrobe essential for every occasion, from office-wear to race-wear.
