Founded back in 2013 by Theodore English and Oscar Leal, Sydney-based online store Belancé quickly moved into the retail space and since then, has been continually evolving over the years. The first of their two storefronts can be found in the heart of Paddington, Sydney. It's crisp white interior perfectly showcases the vast array of products on hand sporting both local labels and indie internationals you can guarantee that anything you pick up from Belancé will be both cool and unique.
Their Second bricks and mortar store in Barangaroo was designed by Liam Mugavin and is akin to something of a concept store, and has a drastically different vibe to its Paddington counterpart. Aimed more at the city slicker and the working man the store places its tailoring front and centre for all to see.
Whether you're on the hunt for some sharp tailoring or something more casual, both stores will have you sorted. In addition to their carefully curated clothing Belancé stock a wide range of sunglasses and accessories which you could look at for hours should you have the chance.
After a chance encounter with the store after wandering the streets of Sydney last year, I quickly arranged a time to pop past and get measured up. Reuben and I decided that we would put together something that was light, summery and fun and after a few in-store consultations, we ended up with the look below.
Baby blue linen has to be one of my all-time favourites, and I love how Reuben paired it with the yellow and blue tailored pullover shirt. It screams Summer and in all the right ways. For a bit of fun, we decided to shoot a few more casual looks that really showcase what they have to offer as well. Clean, simple and minimalist – Belancé at its best!
